Crafting a Robust Digital Roadmap: The Key to Excelling Across Sectors

Founded in 1950, Anadolu Group has expanded its footprint to 19 countries, including Turkey, through approximately 80 companies. Boasting 66 production facilities and a workforce exceeding 50,000, the group's revenues peaked at 32.2 Billion TL by the end of FY17. Seven of its companies are listed on the BIST (Istanbul Stock Exchange). Renowned for housing industry leaders such as Anadolu Efes, Migros, Adel, Anadolu Isuzu, Anadolu Motor, Kia, and Garenta, the group sought expertise to enhance collaboration and digital prowess across its holding companies.

Idea

Evaluate the Group's Digital Proficiency and Formulate a Tailored Strategic Action Plan for Each Sector

We embarked on a comprehensive assessment of the current digital maturity of the targeted companies. By understanding their specific digital transformation objectives and strategies, we could pinpoint which projects were most aligned with these transformational aspirations. With this clarity, we then carefully organized these projects into a well-structured and prioritized action plan. To ensure transparency and easy reference for stakeholders, we consolidated our findings and recommendations into detailed summary reports.

Impact

Digital Action Blueprint: Aligning Group Initiatives with Short and Long-term Business Goals

As a result of our partnership with IBM, we tapped into the expertise of four industry specialists well-versed in Automotive, CPG, and Retail sectors, alongside 19 consultants with proficiency in business analysis, IT architecture, and UX design. These experts meticulously assessed the current state through expansive enterprise surveys. Furthermore, they facilitated eight design thinking workshops, engaging over 200 participants and conducted in-depth interviews with over 100 executive figures, accumulating insights from 81 distinct sessions. This comprehensive process led to the identification of 384 pain points, the documentation of 469 need statements, and the generation of more than 300 actionable improvement ideas. By synthesizing these insights, we discerned four primary digital focus areas and crafted related priority programs to address them, laying the foundation for enhanced business outcomes and value creation.
